I had the opportunity to work with Christopher Rainwater on a two-year project at the VA Hospital in Long Beach, which is where I first met him. From day one, it was clear that Chris is one of the most knowledgeable safety professionals in the industry especially when it comes to EM 385-1-1. He doesn’t just know the standard he lives it, breathes it, and can recite it from memory. What truly sets Chris apart is his character and mentorship. He leads by example, stands on business, and never compromises when it comes to doing things the right way. He doesn’t just preach safety he embodies it in everything he does. Chris has had a major impact on my career and the way I approach safety, and I’m grateful to have learned from him.
